at the climate protest on September 20th 2025Once upon a time, there was a kingdom ruled by Frederick the Heartless, second-in-command King. And times were difficult in Frederick's land, for an evil dragon raged through his realm: The dragon burned the forests and dried up the rivers. With the beating of its wings, it created mighty storms. Its dragon fire had become so hot in recent years that it even melted the glaciers, thereby raising the sea level. Many—including those in Frederick's realm—suffered from the increasingly frequent dragon attacks. And the dragon grew ever more powerful because, contrary to all reason, it continued to be fed. When it was discovered that many of the taxes in Frederick's realm were being used to subsidize dragon food, the people protested. But instead of facing the dragon with his cleaver, Frederick the Heartless promised the people salvation in the form of a spell called technological openness. In a few years, the problem would supposedly simply solve itself. Some of the people were wise enough not to buy this lie. But Frederick quickly diverted the conversation by talking only about migration and citizen's income—a trick he had learned from the blue-brown Shadow Knights. When the people then learned that the Princess of the Lobby, Catherine the Rich, secretly wanted to build new dragon-feeding power plants, they were rightly outraged. But Frederick said we were only responsible for 2% of global dragon feed, so we could keep feeding the dragon. But the people weren't stupid! It was on the 20th day of the 9th month of the year 25, when many of them gathered. In Würzburg and throughout Frederick's empire. To protest against his dragon policy. Because this dragon had to be stopped at last. And they wouldn't stop fighting this dragon. Precisely because Frederick the Heartless didn't. And if they didn't die, they're still protesting today.
